ToRD Releases 2011 Bout Schedule

Toronto Roller Derby is proud to release its 2011 bout schedule to the public!

The ToRD roller derby season has been adjusted to more closely align with the WFTDA regular season – as such, the 2011 season opener will be occurring Febuary 5th, and sees the 2010 Champions the Gore Gore Rollergirls facing off against the Death Track Dolls!

05/FEB – Opener! Gore Gore Rollergirls vs. Death Track Dolls
26/FEB – Double Header! CN Power vs. Killamazoo Derby Darlins, D-VAS vs. Nickel City Roller Derby
12/MAR – Chicks Ahoy! vs. Smoke City Betties
26/MAR – Quad City Chaos! (ToRD, RVRG, TCRG, MTLRD)
09/APR – Gore Gore Rollergirls vs. Chicks Ahoy!
16/APR – Death Track Dolls vs. Smoke City Betties
14/MAY – Smoke City Betties vs. Gore Gore Rollergirls
28/MAY – Chicks Ahoy! vs. Death Track Dolls

As you can see, these are two teams of AWESOME skaters, and the bout showed off their skills. It started off looking like a blowout, and then turned into one of the best/closest roller derby bouts ever seen at the Hangar!

Thanks to all the skaters, the fans who came out and were treated to a unique experience, Black Dahlia and Blood and Thunder Magazine for bringing the awesome training camp to our humble home, the refs who keep us in line on the track, and all the volunteers who contributed to the bout and training camp, for making this amazing experience happen!
